The El Fresco Music Series will have its last free outdoor concert on Friday, Aug. 21 at the El Paso Convention Center. The theme would be Country Spotlight. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The 2026 El Fresco All Stars series highlights local talent, food vendors, drinks and artisan markets. Open to all ages.
Elmont Swim Club hosts Back to School Night Swim
The Elmont will welcome college students to its Back-to-School Night Swim from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, at 240 W. Castellano Drive.
Students from UTEP, NMSU, EPCC, DACC, Texas Tech University Health Science Center El Paso, Southwest University and other area colleges can kick off the semester with an evening of swimming, barbecue, food and drink specials, and live country music by Mack Henry Band.The party is open to the public. Admission is $10 after 6 p.m. with a valid college student ID. Tickets, VIP tables and cabanas for all shows are available now at elmontsocial.com.
Edith Marquez coming in concert
Singer Edith Marquez will bring her Eterna E Inolvidable Tour to El Paso with a performance at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 at the Plaza Theatre. Since leaving Timbiriche in 1991, Márquez has enjoyed a long and successful career as a big-voiced singer of both pop songs and Mexican regional styles. Tickets starting at $67 are available at Ticketmaster.com.
Nothing but Collectibles show
Nothing but Collectibles will have its 10th show Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 22-23, at The Shoppes at Solana. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Visitors can browse thousands of collectibles from vendors in the region, including comic books, Pokémon cards, sports cards, vintage toys, action figures, antiques, coins, Funko Pops, artwork, and many other unique collectibles. It’s a chance to buy, sell and trade.
Afrojack at Elmont Swim Club
Grammy-winning DJ and producer Afrojack takes over The Elmont Swim Club Sunday, Aug. 23, headlining a massive poolside day party beginning at 4 p.m. HNTR will be the special guest.
Fans are encouraged to get their crew together, secure tickets in advance and arrive early. The event is for guests 21 and older. General admission tickets range from $42.37 to $47.54, available at elmontsocial.com
