Update: By 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, single-day GA tickets for both Saturdays of the festival were sold out.
On Tuesday, Austin City Limits Music Festival released this year’s lineup and put the first round of three-day passes on sale at aclfestival.com. Two days after hitting the market, 3-day GA tickets are already sold out. Don’t despair if you got caught up in the stampede, because single-day tickets went on sale Thursday at noon.
If you’re deliberating on which single-day to choose, let me break it down for you. Friday on both weekends will have Hozier, Luke Combs, Cage the Elephant and Empire of the Sun. Saturday on both weekend is Sabrina Carpenter, the Strokes, Doechii and DJO. Sunday on both weekends will host Doja Cat, John Summit, Feid, T-Pain and Mk.gee.
Single-day general admission passes start at $170, while single-day GA+ are $345, VIP is $710 and Platinum is $2,210. If you are still interested in a 3-day pass, your only option right now is a weekend VIP going for $1,760 or Platinum at $5,710. However, there are still weekend two Y’all Access tickets available for $27,000, if you roll like that. As of publishing, 3-day GA+ passes are still available for weekend two starting at $775.
When is ACL Fest 2025?
The annual Austin City Limits Music Festival will span two weekends: October 3-5 and 10-12.
Where is ACL Fest 2025?
Austin City Limits Music Festival will be held at Zilker Park (2100 Barton Springs Road).
Who is playing ACL Fest 2025?
Highlights on the 2025 lineup include Sabrina Carpenter, who is making her ACL Fest debut after playing Austin last October for her “Short n’ Sweet” tour. Hozier is returning this year after playing Weekend One back in 2023. Doja Cat is also on the lineup. She previously played Weekend One in 2021. Luke Combs is the country headliner this year, and John Summit will be the top featured DJ. Alt rock is back with a vengeance, too. The Strokes are back at ACL Fest 15 years after their 2010 headlining year, and Cage the Elephant last played the festival during Weekend Two in 2016. Maybe the most exciting lineup edition this year is Doechii, a breakout female rapper who will also headline Lollapalooza this year.
What about this year’s VIP options? Yes, there’s a $27,000 ticket to ACL Fest
VIP passes, which include a shaded lounge, separate food for purchase and an elevated viewing area, are $1,670. Platinum passes, which include all-day catering, front stage viewing, golf cart transportation and a fancier lounge, are $5,670. For the biggest spenders out there, three-day Y’all Access passes start at $27,000, but there’s already a waitlist for weekend one.
The fest is also brining back three-day Bungalows, which includes 10 tickets and other amenities for $30,000.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Gates for ACL Fest typically open in Zilker Park at noon on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The last set ends at 10 p.m. daily. The lineups for weekend one and weekend two are very similar with some slight variations. The festival’s daily capacity is 75,000, so you can expect there to be a cavalcade of people walking around Zilker Park and crowds packed in tight to watch the larger sets.
Austin weather in October is unpredictable. The combination of high temperatures, lack of shade and dense crowds can often be an endurance test. But there have been some years where raincoats and even sweaters were necessary.
Regardless of the weather, ACL is the time of year to spread out a blanket or some lawn chairs on the grass, watch a powerhouse lineup of curated music and check out cool pop-up installations with your friends. For more information, visit www.aclfestival.com.
