4 arrested in Amarillo after reports of large fight, shots fired

Four people were arrested after Amarillo police received reports of an altercation and shots being fired Saturday.

The Amarillo Police Department said officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Westhaven Circle in reference to a large group of 10-15 people fighting.

While Amarillo officers were heading to the location, dispatch received numerous calls regarding possible shots fired.

Officers arrested four women, identified as Amaan Dakkai, 21, Ayel Madilak, 22, Achok Aguer, 20, and Yar Dakbai, 19, for class C on-view charges of pedestrian in roadway and disorderly conduct-disturbing the peace.

No further information was yet available Monday about the incident. APD said the case is still actively being investigated.
