Strike up the band!
Marching bands are a key part of the Friday night high school football experience. They get the crowds revved up before and during games and they entertain at halftime.
In the Marion area, schools and communiity members take their bands seriously and deservedly so. Lots of sweat equity goes into those weekly performances.
So here is a chance to recognize the 10 bands as readers are encouraged to vote for their favorite units. The Marion Star Favorite Marching Band of 2025 Poll is live now through early Monday, Nov. 3 at MarionStar.com and its app. Fans may vote as often as allowed.
