Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, the largest Oktoberfest celebration in the United States, returns to Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove once again this year.
Southwest Ohio’s German heritage takes center stage Sept. 18-21. The event, which features German-inspired food and beer, live music and the highly-anticipated running of the wiener dogs, draws over 700,000 attendees annually. Last year, the festival broke attendance records with 808,300 people celebrating the rich German heritage of Southwest Ohio.
While street closures for the festival aren’t anticipated, Chelsea York, vice president of events and experiences at the Cincinnati Regional Chamber, confirmed, some roads will still close over the weekend. Although it is not an official Oktoberfest Zinzinnati event, streets will close in the Downtown area for the Oktoberfest Zinzinnati 14K/7K Brewery Run, a TQL beer series event. Closures take place Sept. 20 between 5-11:30 a.m.
Here’s a list of the closures below.
