Which side are they on?
I will repeat a claim that I made to the editor last year when I said this president seems to initiate policies that benefit our enemies.
He alienates our allies and weakens democracy across the world while at the same time, bowing to autocratic leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He contributes and at times initiates wars that kill tens of thousands of people, contributing to the hatred of our country. While at the same time reducing expenditures that promote health and peace around the world.
He eliminates health care systems in our country, jeopardizing the overall health of the country.
He continues to expand the national debt and inflict further economic hardship on American citizens.
He pursues his war agenda, which does not need to be fought, and policies that do not need to be implemented while ignoring key issues that this country faces such as health care, the unemployment impact of AI and the burgeoning debt that this country carries.
I am only left to conclude that this administration is incompetent; they are working for their own self-interest or the interest of others.

We’re supporting Hambley
As Ohio Democrats, we urge voters to choose Dr. Bryan Hambley for Secretary of State in the May 5 primary.
Bryan is a leukemia doctor at the University of Cincinnati who decided that caring for his patients couldn’t end at the hospital door. He watched rural hospitals close, families bankrupted by medical bills and a gerrymandered legislature ignore all of it. So as a principled person and duty-bound doctor, he decided to do something about it by going all in to make Ohio work for Ohioans.
His opponent, Rep. Allison Russo, voted alongside Republicans in 2023 to approve state legislative maps that gave the GOP a 61-38 House advantage. She defended that vote as the best deal available. We disagree, and so did a conservative Ohio Supreme Court majority, which used that bipartisan “yes” vote to dismiss legal challenges to the maps.
Democrats have lost every statewide Secretary of State race for 20 years. Compromising our core values hasn’t helped us win. Bryan Hambley understands that. He’s held 360 events across Ohio, rejects corporate PAC money and is in this race for the right reasons.
Time for new leadership. Please vote for Bryan Hambley for Secretary of State on May 5.
