Where to park Downtown for Taste of Cincinnati 2026

We hope you’re hungry, because Taste of Cincinnati returns this weekend.

The annual festival highlighting the Queen City’s vibrant cuisine takes place May 22-25 in downtown Cincinnati. The event spans four blocks of Fifth Street, between Main Street and just east of Pike Street. So, multiple roads are set to close.

That means finding parking amid the festivities could be a headache. Here are some tips for navigating downtown Cincinnati during the festival.

Where is Taste of Cincinnati?

The festival stretches across four blocks of Fifth Street, between Main Street and east of Sentinel Street, in downtown Cincinnati.

Several streets around downtown Cincinnati close at 6 p.m. May 20 and reopen 5 p.m. May 26. Visit tasteofcincinnati.com/info to see a full list of street closures for the festival.

Which roads will close for Taste of Cincinnati?

The following streets close at 9 a.m. May 20 and reopen by 7 a.m. May 26, unless otherwise noted, the event’s website states.

A marked detour will direct motorists to northbound I-71 and I-471. Drivers should use caution around the event site and use alternate routes if possible.

Will the streetcar run during Taste of Cincinnati?

According to the city of Cincinnati’s website, the Connector is a free streetcar that makes stops between The Banks, Downtown and Over-the-Rhine. It operates 365 days a year and has extended service hours for select events.

Where to park for Taste of Cincinnati 2026

Street parking

No parking will be permitted on any of the streets that are closed for the festival. Parking will still be available on other roads. On-street parking rates vary by neighborhood but typically range in price from $1.25-$2.75 per hour Downtown.

Visit cincinnati-oh.gov/parking/on-street-parking to see the hours of enforcement. Reminder: Meters are not enforced on holidays, including Monday (Memorial Day).
