Where did Bengals’ UDFA spending rank in NFL this year?

The Cincinnati Bengals didn’t make big splashes in undrafted free agency this year. 

Tops in name recognition for the Bengals with college free agents was Ohio State offensive lineman Seth McLaughlin. But overall, a quiet showing.

According to the numbers at Spotrac, the Bengals ranked just 18th in the NFL in undrafted free agent spending this offseason,

Not that undrafted free agency is a quantity game. The Bengals didn’t go wild with college free agents last year, either, yet still found a gem in linebacker Maema Njongmeta and several of those other players still remain around this summer. 

Hitting one or two college free agents per year would boost the Bengals’ depth, making the actual numbers spent on the effort irrelevant.
