Myles Colvin, who committed to the University of Cincinnati men’s basketball team April 10, has made it official with new coach Jerrod Calhoun. The UC Bearcats announced Colvin’s signing on Thursday, April 23.
Colvin, who averaged 11.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in 2025-26 as a junior at Wake Forest, will have one season of eligibility remaining with the Bearcats.
“Myles is a really versatile perimeter player,” Calhoun said. “He has a tremendous ability to make shots, but also can be a lockdown defender. Myles will be a tremendous asset in so many of our offensive schemes.”
A native of Indianapolis, Colvin has played in 102 career games, making 32 starts. Including two years at Purdue and this past season for the Demon Deacons, Colvin has averaged 6.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, shooting 39.9% from the field, 35.1% from 3-point range and 81.5% from the free-throw line.
Colvin broke out in his lone season in Winston-Salem, playing in 35 games and making 24 starts, while ranking second on the team with 11.6 points per game to go along with an 87% mark at the line. He was named ACC Player of the Week and Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week in mid-December following a 33-point outburst in a win over Queens. Colvin reached double figures scoring 21 times, including a pair of games of 30-or-more.
“Myles brings a tremendous pedigree and winning background to our program,” UC general manager Corey Evans said. “He has a mixture of functional athleticism, positional size, and shot-making that will make him a day one impact in a Cincinnati uniform.”
