Micole Spicer is an educator and Brian McCann is a U.S. Navy veteran (1989-1990).
Ohio’s general election is Nov. 4, with polls open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Voters also may cast their ballots early at the Franklin County Board of Elections, 1700 Morse Road.

Background: “I am an educator. I am a 16-year resident of Whitehall. I am on the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals for the City of Whitehall. I was on the Whitehall Superintendent Advisory Council in 2024. I am on the Elementary School Fairness and Fair Sensitivity Committee for The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.I graduated from The Ohio State University. This is my first time running for an elected office.”
Why are you the best candidate? “I believe that everyone has a right to live well, have all of their life sustaining needs met, and seize every opportunity that life has to offer. I believe that having open, honest, and yes, sometimes difficult conversations while listening intently and respecting everyone’s perspectives is key to fostering community engagement and collaboration. I have always believed that there are one to two things that people can agree on and work together to bring about change. As the next Whitehall City Council Representative, I will bring people together to continue to build our city.”
