Trey Hendrickson comments rile up Bengals fans again

Former Cincinnati Bengals star Trey Hendrickson keeps firing up fans of his old team.

Unintentional from Hendrickson, surely. But the All-Pro edge rusher became a very polarizing figure within the Bengals fanbase for a messy few years of contract standoffs.

Then Hendrickson went and signed with the AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens.

This time, Henrickson showed up at the Ravens’ new jersey debut with a microphone in his hand. During his speech, he made a comment along the lines of “playing in the AFC North on the right side of the ball.”

Bengals fans took that some type of way, of course. Maybe it was a harmless flub and Hendrickson was simply talking about loving that he plays defense. Or perhaps it was a gesture at firing up Ravens fans. Or maybe it was an actual shot at the Bengals.

Who knows?

Regardless, we know who cares…and how the internet took it:
