Sexton's Pizza, a Columbus favorite, will join The Little Grand Market

Sexton’s Pizza is expanding again, this time to The Little Grand Market.

The 10-year-old pizzeria aims to open its fifth location in early March at the food hall near Grandview Heights, according to market representatives. Sexton’s will replace Gant’s Pizza, a Circleville pizza restaurant that has been at The Little Grand since it opened in August 2024.

Gant’s is closing its only spot in Columbus on Jan. 31.

Nora O’Malley, a senior vice president with market developer Thrive Companies, said Sexton’s could open as early as March 1.

The new Sexton’s location at The Little Grand will serve only pizza, O’Malley said. Founders Joey and Jamey Sexton also own a burger restaurant, Sexton’s Burger Bar, next to one of their pizzerias in Gahanna.

Sexton’s also has pizzerias in Hilliard and Lewis Center. Its restaurant in Harrison West is temporarily closed for an electric utilities upgrade, but that location is taking orders through Good Night John Boy in the Short North.

Sexton’s is The Little Grand’s second big-name addition in recent months. Preston’s: A Burger Joint opened at the food hall in December, replacing Taesty’s Southern Style, another Circleville restaurant that was one of the market’s original tenants.
