The Cincinnati Reds signed veteran right-handed starting pitcher Chris Paddack to a one-year MLB deal through the 2026 season, the team announced May 13.
Paddack is expected to start Saturday, May 16, against the Cleveland Guardians, per The Enquirer’s Gordon Wittenmyer.
The team also announced right-handed pitcher Rhett Lowder was placed on the 15-day injured list (IL) with right shoulder pain. The team designated for assignment (DFA) catcher PJ Higgins.
