Officials are resuming the search on June 5 for a missing kayaker on the Ohio River.
Multiple agencies assisting the response suspended the June 4 search around 11:30 p.m. due to a lack of visibility, according to crew with the New Richmond Fire Department.
“Natural Resources Officers were called to respond to a report of three kayaks that capsized in the Ohio River near New Richmond,” read a statement from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. “Two people have been accounted for but there is a third person still missing.”
First responders were first called to the river around 4:30 p.m., Enquirer media partner Fox 19 reported.
