Coshocton County Sheriff Chris Walters and local fire departments will provide an escort to the runners, along with Mayor Mark Mills welcoming the relay to the community.

Residents are encouraged to show their support by cheering on the participants as they pass by with the flag.

Volunteers are carrying a single flag on foot across the United States with the goal of uniting citizens one mile at a time. The flag is passed from runner to runner continuously until it arrives at the National Mall in Washington D.C. on July 4.
