PORT CLINTON – The 2025 Port Clinton Firecracker Cuties contest crowned a bevy of winners in time for the Fourth of July Celebration.
This year saw 29 contestants from Port Clinton, Sandusky, Paulding, Mount Vernon, Mansfield, Bellevue, Cincinnati, Galloway, Burgoon, Cuyahoga Falls, Ashville, Findlay, Vermilion and Lambertville, Michigan.
Firecracker Cuties 2025 winners crowned for the Fourth of July activities included:Grand Supreme Queen Nora Lynn Smith, Elite Queen Kensley Cookson, Mr. Firecracker Alexander Herrera, Grand Supreme Prince Rowan Patterson, Grand Supreme Princess Samantha Bowman, Grand Supreme Little Miss Mia Jay Lanning, Grand Supreme Mini Princess Gracelyn Love, Grand Supreme Mini King Thurman Henning, Grand Supreme Mini Queen Adeline Bowen, Miss Firecracker Jocelyn Rohde, Spirit Award winner Macie Lee Lanning and Most Photogenic winner Nora Lynn Smith.
Contestants were judged on personality, patriotic outfit, poise and the contestants ages 6 and up were asked a question about themselves for judges and audience on July 4.
The Firecracker Cuties and Royalty Contest started at noon July 4 at the Trinity United Methodist Church. The pageant was open to all ages, genders and residents of all cities and states. The fees were $20 before July 4 and $25 to enter day of the contest. All money raised by the contest went to fund the Port Clinton Fireworks.
