Swiss Steak Dinner, 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Beach City American Legion Hall Post 549, 125, 3rd Avenue. Drive-thru Carry-Out only. Meal includes three bean salad, applesauce, mashed potatoes/ homemade gravy, corn, bread and dessert for the cost of $14. Quart size three bean salad will be available for purchase. Ladies Night Out, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21, in Historic Downtown Wooster. Main Street Wooster gives away 400 swag bags at this fun event for the women in the community. Enjoy live music, giveaways, and so much more. The theme for the night is: LNO Through the Decades (dress up in different decade clothing).
Ashland Cancer Crusaders Relay For Life event, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, June 20, Ashland County Fairgrounds. This annual event raises money for the American Cancer Society and the fight against cancer. Activities during the event will include a car show and a cornhole tournament starting at 11:00 with both registrations beginning at 10:00. A silent auction will be from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. and a vendor show will also be ongoing during the entire time. There will also be food trucks.
