Luke Seaman seals win for Louisville
Luke Seaman intercepts Northwest at the Northwest 46-yard line with six seconds left to play. Louisville is out in victory formation and will take a knee. Louisville takes the knee. Louisville defeats Northwest 10-3. Louisville improves to 3-0. Northwest falls to 1-1.
Louisville turns ball over on downs
Louisville elects to bring the offense down on fourth down and the throw is incomplete. Northwest takes over at its own 35 with 12 seconds left.
Louisville avoids late turnover

Sophomore kicker Parker Daum just absolutely crushed a 36-yard field goal right down the middle. Kick is good. Louisville leads Northwest 10-3 with 5:50 to play in the game.

Louisville is going to have great field position. Louisville forced a three-and-out by Northwest and a short punt allows Louisville to take over at the Northwest 34-yard line. Louisville leads 7-3 with 9:55 to play.

Ben Schanz hits a 24-yard field goal with 2:32 to play in the third quarter. Northwest now trails Louisville 7-3. Schanz is one of the better kickers in the area and is close to becoming the all-time scoring leader for Northwest. He is a four-year starter. That kick had plenty of leg.

I’m not sure if it was an attempted onside kick or a squib kick attempt that went awry but Northwest fell on a short kickoff at its own 45-yard line. Northwest has good field position down 7-0 with 7:45 to go in the third quarter.
Owen Wilson breaks the tie for Louisville
Sophomore running back Owen Wilson just took off for a 67-yard touchdown run for Louisville. Wilson burst through the middle of the line and was gone down the right sideline. The extra point by Parker Daum was good. Louisville leads Northwest 7-0 with 7:52 left in the third quarter.
Louisville forces punt to start third quarter
Northwest drives to the Louisville 49-yard line before being forced to punt. The punt is over the head of returner Gabe Stoffer and rolls into the end zone. Louisville will take over from its own 20-yard line. WE have 9:21 left in the third quarter. No score here at Louisville.

Northwest appeared to have its drive stall out at its own 33 yard line but Louisville is called for roughing the punter on the special teams play.
