The ticket was life-changing.
But the Ohio Lottery says a Summit County player could not believe his good fortune.
The lottery announced Nov. 14 that a grand prize ticket in the $2,000,000 Cashword scratch-off game was sold in Cuyahoga Falls.
The winner, whose name was not released, bought the $30 ticket on his way home from work at the GET GO on State Road.
After realizing that it appeared to be the winning ticket for the big prize he didn’t believe it at first.
He first scanned the ticket on his phone app then returned inside of the store to scan it there to confirm the win.
Still skeptical, lottery officials say he went to a second store to scan it there for further confirmation.
The winning ticket called for a payout of $80,000 a year for 25 years.
The winner opted for the cash payout of $728,750 after taxes.

The lottery has also announced that an Akron resident hit a Nov. 3 Pick 5 drawing.
The 50-cent wager at the EZ Quick Stop on Grant Street is worth $18,218.75 after taxes.
