A new European-inspired restaurant from Cincinnati restaurateur Kevin Armon is set to open.
Concorde opens July 14 at 4925 Whetsel Ave. in Madisonville. According to a press release, the restaurant, located within Ackermann Group’s Madamore mixed-use development, draws inspiration from cafés, bistros and wine bars in France, Italy and Spain.
Armon, who has more than 35 years of culinary experience, said opening Concorde in Madisonville is special because he has lived there for over two decades and wanted to create something for the community.
“Opening Concorde is incredibly meaningful because it’s the first restaurant I’ve been able to call my own after more than 35 years in this industry,” Armon said in a statement.
“I’ve poured my heart into every detail to create something truly special for this community. It’s incredibly rewarding to finally welcome our neighbors through the doors and share this experience with them,” he continued.
The 4,500-square-foot restaurant was designed and built by Cincinnati-based firms Drawing Dept. and Sansalone & Associates.
The menu features classic European dishes, such as coq au vin, roasted Scottish salmon with lemon beurre blanc, oysters Rockefeller and lumache all’Amatriciana, along with a curated wine list and cocktail program.
Hours will be 4-10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 4-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
