University of Mount Union has been cited one of America’s America’s Best Colleges by Money magazine for 2025.
Mount Union was one of only 19 institutions in Ohio to earn at least 3½ stars out of 5 in Money’s ratings. Only 732 colleges across the country qualified for the listing, which considers quality of education, affordability and alumni outcomes as part of its methodology.
Officials at Mount Union said the recognition reflects its commitment to making education accessible to students of all backgrounds, with $37 million awarded each year through grants and scholarships and 99% of students receiving some form of financial aid.
The outlet also found 80% of Mount Union graduates earn more than the average high school graduate across the country.
