One person died in a March 8 motorcycle crash in Obetz, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said.
At about 11 p.m., two people were riding motorcycles west on Interstate 270 near Alum Creek Drive, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. One was riding a Kawasaki Ninja 400, and the other was riding a Yamaha YZF-R3.
The rider of the Kawasaki was thrown from the bike for unknown reasons, the sheriff’s office said. Hamilton Township medics pronounced the rider, who has not been identified, dead at the scene at 11:20 p.m.
The rider of the Yamaha was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center with injuries that were not life threatening.
