The League of Women Voters of Hudson will have its annual social gathering on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
All those who live in Hudson and surrounding communities are invited to join and learn more about the mission of the League, upcoming projects and hear from the new president, Becky Susany.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization that believes voting is at the core of democracy. Its mission is to work to protect voters’ rights and encourage active participation in our government through education and advocacy. As the midterm season approaches, important local, state and federal level races will be decided.
