If you’ve already downed several cups, you’re no doubt already jolted up enough to celebrate National Coffee Day.
The observance comes every Sept. 29, and it’s marked by freebies and discounts at local and national coffee shops and bakeries.
Here are 10 National Coffee Day deals you can grab in central Ohio to mark the occasion.
Little West Tavern, inside the Junto Hotel at 77 Belle St. in Franklinton, is celebrating National Coffee Day with $10 espresso martinis and $40 espresso martini towers.
Maudine’s, also at the Junto Hotel, is giving away free mini nitro cold brews until 7 p.m., or until they run out.
New Grounds Coffee House, 6318 Scioto Darby Road in Hilliard, is offering 15% off all its September specials. The list includes Caramel Apple Macchiato, Toasty Pumpkin Cold Brew, Caramel Corn, Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll and Autumn Twilight (white chocolate, hazelnut and cinnamon).
Biggby Coffee, which has been opening drive-through stops in central Ohio grocery store parking lots, is selling 16-ounce hot or cold farm-direct coffees for $1.
Duck Donuts, 825 Polaris Pkwy. in Westerville, is giving customers a free espresso doughnut with any in-shop purchase.
Krispy Kreme is giving away a free doughnut and coffee.
Paris Baguette, which has central Ohio shops in Upper Arlington, Easton Town Center and the Polaris area, is giving away free medium iced or hot coffee with any purchase for customers who are members of its rewards program.
Parlor Doughnuts, which opened in August at 5915 Evans Farm Drive in Lewis Center, is offering 20% off all of its coffee drinks through Friday, Oct. 3.
Sheetz is giving free self-serve coffee with any purchase at its nearly 30 central Ohio locations.
Tim Hortons is offering free small coffee with any purchase of $1 or more on its app.
