FirstEnergy Corp. reported that more than 900 of its Portage County customers were without power as of about 2:20 p.m. Aug. 22.
Most of the impacted customers are in Streetsboro, as well as Shalersville, Mantua and Edinburg townships, with smallewr outages in other communities.
The estimated restoration time is currently between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., but this is subject to possible change. Go to https://outages.firstenergycorp.com/oh.html for updated and more detailed information about power outages.
FirstEnergy says determination of the cause of the bulk of the outages is pending investigation.
