CLEVELAND ―The first home game of the year will be Shedeur Sanders’ first start of the year. The only question will be if the Browns quarterback will get a start once the regular season begins.
The Browns play their second preseason game against the Buffalo Bills Aug. 22. It comes on the heels of joint practice an Aug. 20, which is why a large number of both teams’ starters won’t be playing.
Sanders, though, will be starting for the Browns and is expected to play the first half. Deshaun Watson, with whom he’s in a competition for the starting job, will play the third quarter.
