After two consecutive losses, the Crew will try to swing their play with a road matchup against Nashville SC on Aug. 22.
The Crew lost 2-1 to CF Montreal, the former club of Crew interim head coach Laurent Courtois. Along with the negative result, multiple Crew players left the game with injuries, including defender Rudy Camacho, who suffered a foot injury that put him on crutches.
Camacho also earned a one-game suspension for picking up a fifth yellow card, making him unavailable against Nashville regardless.
Defender Mo Farsi was spotted limping after subbing out in the 56th minute against Montreal. Courtois said that Farsi just had a “knock” on the knee and will available against Nashville.
Sitting 12th in the MLS Eastern Conference standings with a mimus-5 goal differential, the Crew enter a tough matchup against Nashville, who are in first place with a 14-4-2 record with a +25 goal differential.
