A woman is dead after a shooting in Hamilton, according to police.
Hamilton police officers were called on the morning of May 14 to the intersection of Eaton and Highland avenues for a report of a person shot, officials said in a news release.
When they arrived at the scene, police found the injured woman, whose identity and age haven’t been released. She was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
The shooting is under investigation and there is no threat to the public, police said. Officials have yet to release any information about a possible suspect.
