Gas under $1.50? Learn how the price of gas has changed in 30 years

Since the war with Iran, gas prices have been rising, hitting more than $4 a gallon in some parts of the United States.

According to AAA, gas prices in Marion County are averaging $3.82 per gallon as of April 3. Some counties in Ohio are averaging more than $3.90 per gallon.

Across Ohio, prices are averaging $3.76 per gallon for regular gas, compared to $3.19 per gallon a year ago.

Ohio isn’t immune to the rising costs, but it isn’t the first time gas prices have spiked.
