Ohioans took to the polls Tuesday for the state’s primary election, with voters deciding a plethora of races from governor candidates to school levies.
In Hamilton County, voters selected candidates for commissioner and voted on two school income tax issues.
The candidates for Ohio’s governor race were also decided May 5, with Trump-backed Vivek Ramaswamy winning the Republican nomination. Amy Acton, who served as the director of the Ohio Department of Health from 2019 to 2020, won the Democratic nomination.
Even JD Vance stopped by his hometown to cast his ballot.
