I first want to say that our law enforcement officers are really doing their best. I have a lot of respect and admiration for them. Putting their lives on the line for us is truly amazing in itself.
It’s important for me to express my true concerns. Driving is not safe anywhere. I see more people on their phones and get distracted every day. No concern at all for the other drivers on the road.
I also experience more passing-lane drivers than ever before. Drivers continually drive in the passing lane without regard. No one is driving on the right lanes next to them. But they continue in the passing lane. What is that about? It’s very frustrating. What can be done? I hope things get better.
I do not feel safe driving at all anymore.Bill Zantopulos, Plain Township
