Driver killed in 3-vehicle crash in Butler County

One person is dead after a crash involving three vehicles in Butler County on Tuesday.

Butler County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the crash in Milford Township just after 7:30 p.m. July 28.

A silver Toyota failed to yield to a black SUV traveling south on US 127, colliding with it, according to the sheriff’s department. The SUV entered the northbound lane and struck a truck and trailer.

One driver died at the site of the crash. Two occupants of vehicles were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The names of the people involved in the crash have not been released as notifications were being conducted, according to the sheriff’s department.

The department’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team will be investigating the crash.
