A 27-year-old woman survived the crash. A witness riding a bus across the Western Hills Viaduct called 911 after spotting the woman on a portion of the car that remained above the water in the Mill Creek.

According to the 911 call, the woman told the witness she had been stranded on the vehicle for more than an hour, waving down passersby for help. She also said the others in the car were dead. The woman was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
