Complex with restaurants, bars and sand volleyball opening in Liberty Township

Liberty Collective, an indoor-outdoor entertainment complex, opens its doors in Liberty Township this week.

Located at 6735 Lakota Lane, near Lakota East High School, Liberty Collective was first announced in 2022. The 18,000-square-foot structure was built on a 3.4-acre site, which previously housed Liberty Food Park.

Liberty Collective opens Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. The space is owned by township residents Mike and Heather Ewers.

“This project has been years in the making, and we’re so excited to finally open our doors to the community,” Mike said in a press release. “Our vision was to create a vibrant gathering place where families, friends, and food lovers can come together and enjoy incredible local flavors, entertainment, and a true sense of community.”

What’s at Liberty Collective?

The grand opening at 11 a.m. will include live entertainment, food tastings, drink specials and activities on The Beach, according to the release.
