Area high school baseball teams discovered their tournament fate during the Central District and Southeast District tournament draws on Sunday, May 10.
Regardless of your team’s record, tournament time is always exciting because it gives teams new life and something to play for. The goal for every team is to make it to the state tournament.
There are seven divisions, and several will have more than one district winner.
Baseball wasn’t the only postseason bracket revealed Sunday. The Lancaster softball team, which reached the final four a year ago for the first time in school history, also had its Division I draw on Sunday. The Lady Gales are the No. 8 seed and will host Reynoldsburg at 5 p.m. on May 18.
