One person is dead following a shooting July 7 on Columbus’ North Side.
Columbus police received a call at around 7:22 p.m. reporting that a person had been shot in the street near East 17th Avenue and Dora Drive, according to a Columbus police dispatcher. Officers arrived on scene and found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead at 7:57 p.m., the dispatcher said.
Police did not have a suspect in custody, the dispatcher said.
