Columbus Crew unveils three new premium seating areas at Lower.com Field for 2026 season

After selling out all premium seating since it opened in 2021, the Columbus Crew’s Lower.com Field is adding three new all-inclusive premium spaces for the 2026 season.

Aiming to open by next season’s first match in February 2026, Skyview Club, Northwest Lofts and Patio 96 will be included in season ticket packages on a first-come, first-served basis, said Adam Green, Crew vice president of ticket sales and service. Starting today on the Crew’s website, current season ticket holders have the first opportunity to claim a spot, and non-ticket holders can join a waitlist with a $250 deposit.

For non-match days, these three spaces — which Green said vary in both feel and price point — are open to anyone for private events. More information about reserving an event space can be found on Lower.com Field’s webpage.

“We host everything from a private luncheon to weddings and big extravagant events,” Green said. “It really depends on what the client is looking for, and typically we can make any price point and any kind of budget work, it just depends on how extravagant they want their event to be.”

Green said the idea for these new spaces emerged after the Crew, for the first time in club history, sold out of season tickets in each of the past two years — and more recently, sold out 40 of its last 41 matches, including every game last season. At first, he said the team wanted to expand the stadium to increase capacity; however, after recognizing there was no way to add new stands without “compromising the feel” of a normal match day, Green said the team turned to additional premium opportunities.

“When we constantly talked to new businesses, we talked to some corporate partners, we talked to different people all around the city and all of our fan bases, the biggest thing we keep hearing is that people want more premium and more experiences and more opportunities.”

Over the past several years, the stadium has built several premium experiences — such as the Cenovus Energy Field Club, Cooper Elliott Theatre Box, Vivid Seats Experience Terrace, Party Suite and The Cenovus Energy Zone — that sold through right away.

“That shows us the demand is there to continue to add more, and it’s really what has led to these three new things and three unique opportunities and experiences that are very different from everything else we offer in these new spaces.”

Green said it is unclear at the time of publication how much it will cost to build these new spaces because of fluctuating construction costs, but all three developments are entirely funded by the Crew.

Patio 96

With capacity for roughly 275 people, Green said Patio 96 is like an “entry into the premium.” An extension of the northwest corner of the stadium’s Party Decks, the area will include all-inclusive food and beverages, private concession stands and private bathrooms.

Skyview Club

Inspired by the stadium’s Huntington Field Club — which Green said is likely the highest-demand club in Columbus, having sold out seating every year it’s been open — the Skyview Club aims to create a “high-end” feel, Green said.

Since the Huntington Field Club has an ongoing wait list, Green said the Crew wanted to create an entirely separate, yet similar model. He said the Skyview Club will hold approximately 600 people and feature “the best seats in the building from a pure soccer vantage point.”

Located on the stadium’s east side, Green said Skyview Club seats will make up the first 10 rows of the upper bowl in the midfield area. Like Patio 96, this section will also offer all-inclusive food and beverages.

Northwest Lofts

In response to high demand for suites, Green said the Northwest Lofts are outdoor suites on the stadium’s northwest corner.

Within these spaces, guests have the option to select either private, eight-person boxes or single seats of twos and fours within a 20-person shared space. All together, the Northwest Lofts will hold roughly 100 people.

Green said the feature that distinguishes the Northwest Lofts from the other two new areas is its emphasis on a “high-end food experience.” He said the section will offer three-course dining, with appetizer, entree and dessert courses served to guests throughout a match.

Another distinct aspect of this section is the temperature-controlled seating, with seats being air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter, Green said.
