Chick-fil-A is giving away free waffle fries ahead of National French Fry Day 2026, if customers play a new in-app game.
The chain announced its new “Spot the Cows” game in its app, where users can play to win a free medium order of waffle fries starting July 7.

How to get free Chick-fil-A fries (while supplies last) for National French Fry Day
After completing the game, Chick-fil-A One members will receive a reward for a free medium order of waffle fries, available while supplies last at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants.
In the limited-time game, users search for and dress up cows before time runs out.
Customers must be signed into a Chick-fil-A One account to play, the company says.
How to redeem reward for free Chick-fil-A fries
The reward appears in the “Rewards” tab in the app. Customers can add it to a mobile order or scan their Chick-fil-A One QR code in-store to redeem.
Members can play the game multiple times to beat their high score. However, the offer is limited to one medium waffle fries reward per person.
When does the Chick-fil-A deal end?
The reward is valid through July 13, 2026.
McDonald’s, White Castle, Checkers & Rally’s offer fry deals for National French Fry Day
McDonald’s is offering rewards members free medium fries on July 10 with a $1 minimum purchase through the app, according to PEOPLE.
Checkers & Rally’s is offering a buy-one-get-one deal on seasoned fries of any size (excluding loaded fries) from July 10 to 12.
White Castle customers can get free cheese fries with any order using the promo code “cheesy” online, in the app or in store.
Fry fans can anticipate additional deals from chains such as Whataburger, Wendy’s and Jack in the Box, according to The Krazy Koupon Lady, though offers may vary.

National French Fry Day is Friday, July 10, 2026, which honors the crispy, golden-fried potato.
