Suffice it to say the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani didn’t enjoy his run-in with Cincinnati Reds starter Nick Lodolo.
Ohtani went 0-for-3 against the Lodolo and struck out in all three of his at-bats.
It’s hard to say what Ohtani was feeling based on his facial expression following his strikeout against Lodolo in the top of the fifth inning. It was a three-pitch at-bat and Lodolo beat Ohtani with three consecutive curveballs. So, let’s just say Ohtani wasn’t doing great after the “K.”
You might be seeing clips of that facial expression on social media down the line. In fact, that’s a guarantee.
