Time to call ‘Jessica’
When President Donald Trump does not get his way, or when someone appears to best him, he tantrums. After the first No Kings demonstrations, he demolished the East Wing. When Melania recently decided to step up to the podium, with the presidential seal, and deny a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein (bringing the files back to the light of day), Trump posted a video of a woman being hammered to death.

Now Trump has pulled millions from Catholic charities because the Pope, well, the Pope is doing what the Pope is supposed to do: interpreting the guidance of the Bible and the church’s teachings.
Ketchup has been known to be thrown on the White House walls with Trump’s toddler tiffs. Trump employs cartoonish superhero memes to demonstrate his (wishful) power over others in a spoiled child fashion. He snatches awards for himself from others he has not earned. There is no focus on anyone but himself and his next McDonald’s DoorDash.
I have seen videos of a new technique parents are using to calm and quell a tantrum-ing child. They start yelling, “JESSICA! JESSICA! WHERE ARE YOU, JESSICA?” This distracts the child, and the tantrum amazingly ceases.
Could Chief of Staff Susie Wiles begin this chant soon, please, before Trump gets mad and bulldozes the Vietnam War Memorial, thus mindlessly compensating for running up bills for his many bone spur fabrication doctor visits, and compromising his busy schedule, when he could have been playing golf and grabbing certain female body parts?

Letting the Pope down
With regard to President Donald Trump’s showing his total ignorance of faith and religion, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, a Catholic, declined to comment on the issue. With only a little over seven months left in office, he still has a hard time speaking truth to power.
U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno, also a Catholic, told reporters that Pope Leo was wrong to criticize Trump and not criticize the Iranian regime. And went further to say he was “incensed” with the Pope’s comments and that what he was doing was a “disgrace.” Pope Leo XIV was speaking about all leaders and people of ill will.
Disgrace is not a term I would attach to Pope Leo, who speaks as a moral leader of his religion. It is a term I could apply to the president, governor and senator.

Protect Ohio farmers
While we are confronted with the increasing cost of gasoline, no one is talking about diesel fuel. The cost of diesel has gone up to around $5.50 a gallon. Diesel fuel is what farmers use to operate their equipment; diesel fuel is what truckers use to transport our goods!
When we were confronted with this situation years ago, the government subsidized diesel for the farmers by placing red dye in the subsidized fuel so that it could be identified and a noncompliant user could be fined.
We need to protect our farmers so that they can continue to supply us with our food needs. The additional cost they incur is passed on to the end user – U.S.!
Think about it!
