A $555,000 bond was set for a suspect arrested in connection with a shooting at a popular Over-the-Rhine bar.
Taviance Maxberry was arraigned May 25, the morning after he was arrested for felonious assault and other felony charges. Maxberry is accused of shooting a man inside Somerset Bar on May 24, according to court records.
Maxberry, 29, is also charged with possessing crack cocaine, having a gun inside a bar and tampering with evidence.
Multiple witnesses saw Maxberry with a firearm at Somerset Bar on East McMicken Avenue, one court record says. It’s unclear what led to the shooting, or the condition of the victim.
