A fatal shooting in the Short North left one person dead in the early hours of Aug. 23.
Around 3 a.m., Columbus police officers responded to North High Street and 4th Avenue, where they found a person a person suffering from a gunshot wound, Dispatch news partner NBC4/WCMH-TV reported.
First responders took the person to a hospital in critical condition where they died at around 5:30 a.m.
Police have not released more details, including information about a suspect.
