The Davenport Northwest Little League baseball team will compete in the Little League World Series this week in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The team from Iowa begins play on Thursday, Aug. 20.
The 2026 Little League Baseball World Series brings together regional champions from across the United States and around the world.
Throughout Little League World Series history, states such as California, Connecticut, Hawaii, New Jersey and Pennsylvania have combined for 28 LLWS titles with California leading the way with eight. Internationally Chinese Taipei and Japan have powerhouse reputations with 18 and 11 championships, respectively. No team from Iowa has ever won the Little League World Series.
Youth baseball fans can watch this year’s event live on ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC, with streaming coverage available through ESPN+ and the ESPN App.
