The arrival of the offseason means some fun new stories about Cincinnati Bengals players getting active in the community.
And some notable Bengals just provided a great example.
The Bengals Hometown Huddle project just saw players complete beautification projects like a playground in Westwood.
“This project is a powerful example of what can happen when partners unite around a common goal,” Moira Weir, President and CEO of United Way of Greater Cincinnati, told Bengals.com. “Together, we’re helping create an environment that supports connection, wellness and opportunity for local families. Spaces like this can have a lasting impact on the well-being and pride of an entire neighborhood.”
Ten years removed from building the original, Bengals players were back and making key additions to one of their many impacted areas of work over the years.
“For people to be able to see these players with their helmets on the field on game day, to be able to put a face with a name and be able to support them and see that they are a part of the community, that’s important for our team,” Bengals coach Zac Taylor told WCPO’s Noelle Blumel. “I think it’s beneficial for everyone.”
