The Cincinnati Bengals announced FOX19 sports director Joe Danneman and iHeartMedia radio host Tony Pike are joining Bengals television and radio coverage.
Danneman will serve as a sideline reporter for the Bengals’ preseason TV network, and will co-host the Bengals Pep Rally radio show with radio play-by-play announcer Dan Hoard.
Pike will serve as a second analyst for games on the Bengals radio network, also contributing to the pregame and postgame radio shows. The former Reading High School and University of Cincinnati Bearcats star quarterback played briefly in the NFL for the Carolina Panthers.
Danneman and Pike join a lineup that includes Hoard, preseason TV play-by-play announcer Mike Watts, preseason TV analyst Anthony Muñoz, radio analyst Dave Lapham and radio pregame and postgame host Wayne Box Miller.
The Bengals are scheduled to open the preseason Aug. 13 against the Detroit Lions at Paycor Stadium.
