Akron Municipal Court closed Monday for air quality issues, arraignments still going ahead

Akron Municipal Court offices and courtrooms are closed today, canceling all hearings except morning and afternoon arraignments, which will move forward as scheduled. A news release said the closing was caused by a “power issue” that affected the air quality inside the courthouse.

Those impacted by the closing will be contacted once the court reopens. Anyone with questions can call the court at 330-375-2120 and leave a message for the corresponding courtroom and department.
