Residents in Lockland or in nearby areas have been alerted about an active shooter near 524 N. Wayne St., according to phone and billboard warnings.
The alert went out around 3 p.m. May 8. All people in the area are urged to take shelter and barricade windows and doors. People have also been asked to the avoid areas between Wyoming and Shepherd avenues and North Wayne Ave to Interstate 75.
Hamilton County Emergency Management Agency said there is “a high risk of injury or death.”
Details are limited at this time.
Hamilton County dispatchers say there are drones and K-9 units actively searching the area for a shooting suspect.
