The basics of the new Cold Spring Town Center
What you need to know:
The mixed-use development is the latest along Alexandria Pike, near other retail spots like Kroger, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, and a St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store.
It used to be the site of a Disabled American Veteran building.
Phase 1: Retail space for coffee and food
McAlister’s Deli and First Watch have already begun construction in the multi-tenant building they share onsite.
Gold Star, which will be located in a standalone building (2,700 square feet), has also begun construction. 7Brew Coffee (just over 800 square feet), on an adjacent parcel, will begin construction in the next few months.
There are still two retail spots available at the site. One is a 2,100 square-foot space in the multi-tenant building. The other is a 1.01-acre corner lot at the intersection of Alexandria Pike and Industrial Road.
The final part of Phase 1 includes roadway improvements along Alexandria Pike, which will likely be completed by early July.
Phase 2: Two medical centers
Cincinnati Children’s: The new medical center will provide pediatric primary care in a two-story building at the site. Almost two dozen employees will work out of the site after it opens.
Cincinnati Children’s will occupy about a fourth of the building, with room for future growth.
It plans to rent the remaining roughly 30,000 square feet to other companies, preferably healthcare practices, according to a news release.
The Christ Hospital Health Network: The new outpatient center will serve as a primary care facility, offer women’s services, and focus on cardiology services.
About 50 people are expected to work out of the new site.
The project is expected to be done by the end of 2028.
