Stroll through the grounds of Memorial Art Gallery with your leashed dog and learn about MAG’s outdoor sculptures and architecture during Yappy Hour on June 12.
You also will be able to create dog nose prints, draw your dog’s portrait and shop for dog merchandise during the event, which will be held rain or shine from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 500 University Ave. Dog treats will be available.
Admission is $10. People will be giving a pass to come back to visit the museum without their pets.
MAG asks that people bring dogs only if they will be comfortable around other pets and people. “If they will not, you are welcome to come without your furry friend, and still grab merch and participate in the other offerings,” the gallery says.
Dogs must be on a standard-length leash, not a retractable leash, and cannot enter the gallery itself unless they are service animals. In addition, if dogs are left in cars, MAG staff will call the Humane Society.
