Who narrates Hard Knocks? Fans are buzzing about Liev Schreiber’s voice

While most focused on the Buffalo Bills, some viewers of the first episode of the team’s Hard Knocks documentary series were fixated on the narrator’s voice.

Episode one of the series aired on HBO Max on Aug. 5 and is voiced by well-known actor, director, producer and screenwriter Liev Schreiber.

Who is Liev Schreiber?

Schreiber is best known for playing Boston Globe editor Marty Baron in the 2015 film “Spotlight,” the title character in the 2013 drama “Ray Donovan” and Sergeant Raymond Shaw in the 2004 version of “The Manchurian Candidate.”

Most recently, Schreiber starred alongside Nicole Kidman and Dakota Fanning in the limited Netflix series “The Perfect Couple” based on the book by Elin Hilderbrand.

According to Schreiber’s X profile, he’s an “Hirsute actor type best known for his slavic fat pads and shockingly attractive children.”

The actor received a Tony Award in 2005 for his role as Richard Roma in the Broadway revival of Glengarry Glen Ross and has been nominated for nine Primetime Emmy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards.
